Curious to relate to but East Asterisk cattery began not with cat, it’s began with mouse. The story happened on the New Year, to be more precise in the end of 2002 and beginning of 2003 Doroshev family live on the second floor of the building and they still can’t figure out how mouse could appear in their flat but once in the morning Inna saw the mouse at home. She has a horror of mice from the childhood. Someone advised them to buy a cat. The smell of the cat said to be terrifying to the mice so they started the search. In order to get a cat they went to the Animal shelter. But there wasn’t anyone suitable for them at that moment. Sudden decision to go to the Zoomarket, where they met Timon, that became a turning point in their life. It was love from the first sight. Without moments hesitation they bought Timon (Josie Aloishke Edem), blue point Siamese. They got curious about the breed and started to read about sia and oriental cats and they realized how lucky they are to fall in love with this breed. Inna and Andrei weren’t experienced enough to define how good Timon in type and they decided to take chance in the cat show.

Doroshev were pleasantly surprised when they came there. Firstly there were a lot of rapt breeders instead of old ladies with their cats they expected to see and secondly Timon got nominated in Best Kitten category. Both were so happy after the show and realized that they want to be involved in breeding. But unfortunately they had to face a lot of troubles and difficulties. Thanks to which Inna and Andrei got the precious experience and their first success. In 2005 Mr and Mrs Doroshev registered their cattery in FIFe. In 2006 Lidia Sidorova joined to the work of cattery and gave a new impulse to the development of East Asterisk. It gave a possibility to have more breeders and to expand the cattery. In 2008 Aida Arutun bought her very first sia in East Asterisk and joined to the work. At the moment Lidia and Doroshev family working on the further expansion of the cattery, establish relations with another breeders in order to enhance the quality of cats in the cattery. East Asterisk has a breeding program, that includes solid dark colors of siamese and orientals: ebony, havana, also white color, dark tabby patterns and bicolors siamese and orientals need more care than any others. To avoid lack of attention, arguments we keep only few cats per household. We put our heart to it and get a countless love in return.
